John Cobb is an author, Associate Minister, and speaker based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with a passion for guiding Christians in their faith through deep, scripture-based teachings. He specializes in the study of Christian doctrines, particularly those surrounding the Second Coming of Christ. As an ordained Baptist minister, John has taught numerous classes on biblical doctrines and has contributed his knowledge to religious conferences and events. His years of study and dedication to understanding eschatology led him to write his first book, "Lord, When? A Biblical Perspective on the Second Coming," which was awarded by the International Impact Books in 2024. His book, "From Death to Life: An Overview of the Foundational Doctrines of the Christian Faith," offers a comprehensive exploration of key Christian doctrines.
John’s ministry extends beyond writing, as he serves as the General Superintendent of Sunday School and Chairman of the Board of Christian Education at Shiloh Baptist Church in Waukegan, Illinois. He is also a contributor to the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. Layman’s curriculum. His commitment to sound doctrine and biblical clarity is evident in his work, both as a teacher and speaker. John continues to inspire and guide believers through his books, speaking engagements, and workshops, helping them navigate the complexities of biblical teachings. He is married to Fay Cobb, and they are proud parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents.
